tgana12feature A pesar de las protestas por nuestras tácticas poco deportivas seguimos vivos y hemos alcanzado las semifinales de Tangana, el evento deportivo más popular de la ciudad de Steel Raining. Apenas han pasado unos días desde que pusimos fuera de juego al Buey y su equipo en los cuartos de final, pero eso ya es agua pasada. Ahora tenemos por delante al Team Fetish del Sigma Rod, Aserrador y la Máquina TXATron. Pero el fabuloso bastón de mindfuck ha traido consigo a una amiga. Alguien que parece conocer algunos de nuestros secretos.

Disc Missing es el comic promocional que publicamos como avance de la segunda temporada de STEEL RAINING, nuestra serie de comics de ficción futurista. El juego, durante estos meses, ha consistido en tratar de adivinar cual era el extraño formato en el que habíamos colgado las imagenes. Pues bien, la solución es la siguiente: Disc Missing solo puede ejecutarse en los desaparecidos ordenadores Amstrad, de la serie CPC,que se hicieron populares a mediados de los años 80 y con los que muchos de nosotros nos iniciamos en el mundo de la informática. El comic está creado a base de gráficos pixelados de 8 bits, según las especificaciones del viejo cacharro, y es completamente funcional.


Dejamos algunas pistas en la shoutbox de la web. Entre ellas un sonido *.mp3 que debídamente grabado en una cassette de audio y ejecutado en uno de estos ordenadores escribía en pantalla una y otra vez las palabras ‘Me llamo Julie y estoy atrapada en Punto Dos’. Aún podéis descargar el paquete que contiene las versiones en disco (*.dsk) y cinta (*.cdt) de Disc Missing y ejecutarlas en un viejo CPC, o en su defecto, en vuestro emulador preferido. Os recomendamos Winape. Lo sentimos, pero no tenemos una versión para Spectrum.

Todos los policías de Steel Raining son robots, incluido el propio comisario, Arsen Fox. Él y su cuerpo de robopolis patrullan la ciudad y mantienen el orden en las calles. El resto es cosa de la seguridad privada. La primera historieta oficial de la serie “Steel Raining” incluye el relato corto “Seguridad Privada”, por Alberto Ballester Castellanos.
